popular gum. (Note: 'Tria' is Greek for 'three' and 'donti' means
'tooth'; hence, Trident translates literally as 'three-teeth', or
'triple-toothed'. Trident Gum, if one is to believe the advertising,
helps to clean your teeth, thus the allusion.) You'll also find Trident

Spartan - Greek warrior state, devoted to discipline
and the martial arts; Spartan Corporation is a financial advisory
company; also, Spartan Tool & Die is a national manufacturer and

Stores use the name.
Trojan - Inhabitants of the mighty city that was
destroyed by the Greeks during the Trojan War, after a siege of ten

Venus - Roman for Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and
love; Venus is the name of a famous beauty product company; Venus
International is a popular beauty talent agency; Venus Tan Lines is a
swimsuit manufacturer; Venus Razor is a popular women's shaving
accessory; Venus Beauty Salon is found in most any city or town.
Vulcan - Roman name for Hephaestus, god of the smiths
and the forge; Vulcan Industries is an international manufacturer of
steel products. Vulcan Minerals and Vulcan
Food Equipment are a couple more companies.
Zabius - A Hyperborean King, Father to Themisto. She
married a man named Galeus, which means "the lizard". He was a son of
the god Apollo and emigrated to Sicily where he built a temple to his
father. The
Zabius Universal Gaming Headset, made by Genius, is preferred by
gamers everywhere.

fuscus is a scorpion of the family Buthidae, and the only species in
the genus Zabius.
Zarex - Zarex (Ζάρηξ) is the name of a hero of Ancient
Greek mythology, son of Carystus or Carycus, grandson of Chiron, the
most famous of Centaurs, who were half horse and half man. He was
tutored in music by the great Apollo, and founded the town of Zarex
in Laconia; Zarex is a type of
non-alcohol sweet fruit syrup that can either be mixed with water,
poured over shaved ice, used in cupcakes, or poured into alcoholic
beverages.
Zelus - Zelus (emulation, zeal) was the son
of Pallas and Styx. Along with his siblings Nike
(Victory), Cratos (Strength)
and Bia (Force), Zelus was an enforcer who stood in attendance at Zeus' throne
and formed part of his retinue. Zelus personifies dedication, emulation,
eager rivalry, envy, jealousy, and zeal. The English word "zeal" is
derived from his name. Zelus Material
